Emergya was one of the principal contributors to this event. More than 30 Drupal workers and other technology developers came together at the venue (Isla Mágica) in order to contribute to the Drupal community (sprints, talks, sessions, etc.). Among the events taking place, during these five days in which Seville was the centre of the Drupal universe, were some sprints, mentoring, talks and workshops.
“We have been able to learn and contribute to others, meet interesting and foreign people and, to sum up, enjoy this international event using a technology that is essential for us”
David Munárriz, Chief Marketing Officer and co-founder of La Drupalera, was one of the event organisers
It was an intense period of time in which our developers made a great effort. Not only did they contribute to making Drupal bigger, they also helped one another by sharing their commitment”.
“We have worked as a team, we have helped each other and we have been able to solve issues.”
Pepe García, Drupal developer at Emergya
Moreover, Emergya actively participated in some talks such as ‘Challenges of using a single theme for a complex multisite Drupal 8 instalation’, by Neftalí Guerrero and Enno Langelotz, or some workshops such as ‘Beyond the web: mobile apps using Drupal & Ionic 2’, by Alejandro Gómez Morón and Nacho González Bullón. Furthermore, these Drupal Dev Days welcomed one of the most important Drupal developers in the world: Angela Byron, Acquia committer and a person who has contributed with Drupal the most since its beginnings.
